I thought it was worth pointing out delicious’s homepage, since they have a similar dillemma — what’s more important, community content (hot bookmarks), or my content (my bookmarks)?

Their situation is different enough to make it a no brainer though — since my bookmarks are static once I add them, it’s the less interesting view. […]
