I was looking at this site today called Do Something. In their words:
You have a lot of ideas about how you’d like to change the world or at least you have a lot of questions and concerns and you’re looking for specific things you can do. We’re giving you a place to connect, a place to be inspired, be supported, be celebrated. The only question is, “What’s your something?”
It turns out, “what’s your something?” isn’t an easy question to answer. At least not in the three seconds we devote to each new website we encounter. While you probably have 800 somethings, the chance that one of them are on your semi-catatonic web-browsing mind when you stumble across that site is close to nil.

I mention this because we suffer the same problem — what do I want to make happen? I have no idea.
Examples go a long way to solve it, but I think a laundry list of “Things you can do on The Point” on the homepage would be extremely valuable. Here are a few — add yours in the comments.
